Deli Qiao received the B.E. degree in electrical engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2007 and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Lincoln, NE, USA, in 2012. From 2012 to 2014, he was with Huawei Technologies Inc., as a Research Engineer, focusing on 5G techniques especially massive MIMO. Since 2014, he has been with the East China Normal University, Shanghai, China, where he is currently a Professor. His research interests include the general areas of wireless communications, information theory, and signal processing. He served as an Editor of CHINA COMMUNICATIONS from 2016 to 2023, and is serving as an Associate Editor of IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON VEHICULAR TECHNOLOGY. He was the recipient of the Technical Committee on Green Communications and Computing (TCGCC) Best Journal Paper Award in 2017, and received the Best Editor Award of CHINA COMMUNICATIONS in 2019 and 2020.
